Oxoid™ Violet Red Bile Agar (VRBA) (5kg) is a selective medium specifically formulated for the detection and enumeration of coliform organisms in food, dairy, and water samples. Its composition selectively encourages the growth of Gram-negative, lactose-fermenting coliforms while inhibiting the growth of Gram-positive bacteria.
