SGL
SGL Buffered Peptone Water with 0.05% Tween is a ready-to-use pre-enrichment medium supplied in 10ml universal containers for microbiological sample preparation and organism recovery. Commonly used in food production, environmental monitoring and quality control laboratories, the addition of Tween helps improve the recovery of microorganisms from surfaces, swabs and samples where bacteria may be stressed, injured or attached to particles. The buffered formulation provides a supportive environment for microbial recovery prior to selective enrichment and further analysis. Supplied ready prepared, the medium removes the need for in-house preparation, helping laboratories save time whilst maintaining consistent testing procedures.
